    Thomas Gilberthorpe is my G-Great grandfather, in the 1841 Census, he was born in Arksey, married Hannah Maria Fitzgeorge, I think both are buried in Arksey churchyard.

    Hello, such a fantastic blog on Arksey I have found it so interesting. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Does anyone know what Arksey House was in the 1841 census please.
